Douliu baseball stadium

My friend and I went to see a baseball game in Douliu Baseball Stadium. The Douliu Baseball Stadium is in Douliu(斗六), Yunlin(雲林) and open in Sep, 2005.

This ballpark seated 15000 and unique features of it include double-bleachers and big screen. But the form of Douliu Baseball Stadium is ordinary. Actually, the form of ballparks in Taiwan is very monotone. Because all ballparks in Taiwan are established and maintained by the government.

The home of LA angels is Angel Stadium. Its beautiful nickname is "Home of the Angels". Multiple-bleachers and big screen are basic facilities in this field and special form of it include two big batting helmets at entrance and rockery and fountain in center field. It was lively for every fan. I hope there will be a good ballpark in Taiwan in the future.

After baseball game, I found a special man-Ian Lamplugh. He is a umpire from Canada. In order to promote level of judgment, he occupied a visiting umpire. His fast, decisive, and exact judgement is popular with fans. Unlike other umpires's "amoebic" Strike Zone, his is uniform. I hope he can stay in Taiwan for a long time.
